No to the aggression of Russian imperialism against Ukraine!!

The International Socialist League declares its total solidarity with Georges Ibrahim Abdullah and the cause for which Palestine fought and continues to fight, from the river to the sea, against imperialism and zionism.

Georges Ibrahim Abdullah remains imprisoned in France although he received a court decision to be released from captivity. He is in administrative detention awaiting the signature of the Minister of the Interior on the deportation document., which is still postponing taking this measure under pressure from the US-Israeli regime to make Georges the oldest political prisoner in all European prisons.

Consequently, Georges' lawyer filed a lawsuit against the French government, getting the court to meet again in France on 27/1/2022. His decision will be issued this Thursday 10/2/2020.

We know that the court's decision will not force the Minister of the Interior to sign the release of Georges since he has expressed his position on several occasions., and also that the will of the jailer will only be broken by political and popular pressure. It is for all this that we launched several initiatives by the International Socialist League, that began at the beginning of the year with Solidarity campaigns in different countries, We signed a joint petition that was presented in France and now we are calling for joint action in the face of the imminent announcement of the decision by the court.

In Beirut we will mobilize in front of the French embassy this Wednesday 9 February and in France in front of the Court on Thursday 10.

In other countries similar actions will be carried out in front of embassies, consulates and other solidarity initiatives. These steps will continue to increase as long as prisoner Georges remains in captivity.
