Argentina: door open for the punishment of Francoist

We talked to Marc Muñoz, whose brother was killed by the Spanish police in the National Day of 1978. The Chamber of Cassation recognized the right to sue in Argentine courts for murders committed during the Spanish Transition. It is a step forward for justice and for the punishment of the crimes against humanity of the Franco regime. Below we transcribe the dialogue with Marc:

Are you happy with the progress of the case for the murder of Gustau?

and so much, a lot. Argentina is teaching the world a lesson on human rights, in a matter of resistance in search of justice. And so much that I am happy.

You traveled more than twenty thousand kilometers to sue. What happens with the justice of the Spanish State?

Spanish justice maintains the same structures it had under the dictator. The transition, as they wanted to say, it was neither exemplary nor democratic. State services have not been purged, police, Justice, the prosecution, the military; everything has maintained its structure. Thus, it's not justice. There is no separation of powers in Spain and what refers to historical memory is untouchable, because there are many responsible for those murders who are still alive and in good health.

What causes allowed us to get here??

There are several factors. A fundamental one is the involvement of the Casal Argentino de Barcelona, legal advice and the work done day by day. Diego Arcos has facilitated the work selflessly and with respect for the facts. My gratitude is eternal.
further, I appreciate the solidarity of all those who supported me. I take this opportunity to greet those people whom State terrorism has placed in this situation.

Would you like to add something?

Yes, It is important to make public the ruling of the Court of Buenos Aires, for all people who have relatives or someone who is without justice for a murder, So encourage them to go to Argentina, since there is an open door and you have to take advantage of it. our silence, our pain at home, Call it whatever you want, It is their impunity and they have no right. They have no right to impunity and not have paid for all the pain produced. Health!
