La Rambla dressed in green

Yesterday afternoon we dozens of women came together in the Font de Canaletes, the heart of Barcelona.As part of Marea Verde Barcelona, with our handkerchiefs perform a demonstration along La Rambla, up to the Mirador de Colón. The end of the tour was not accidental. We wanted to make it clear that the earth and our bodies do not have owners. Our colorful and cheerful rally made the green wave were adding women, and men of different nationalities niñxs, mainly catalanxs. We received greetings, show solidarity and support for the Campaign for Legal Abortion in Argentina.

Proudly we premiered a big green scarf made between all the next day and edit a video. In this way, We are conducting a broad campaign, to which we give life to different organizations and feminist groups. We find a thousand kilometers with the conviction feel part of the global feminist wave, We marched and sang together to support our Argentine sisters.

We know that the fight is tough. Church and political power shift not want women to decide about our bodies. But one thing we have learned is that no right is achieved without a fight.
Because, continue mobilized to abortion is legal in Argentina; knowing that feminist wave feeds every win that women achieve in the world.
