At the time of writing this statement, the entire world continues with attention and sympathy in the majority of youth, the rebellion in the US. International solidarity actions grow and this process confirms trends in full development: COVID amplifies the capitalist crisis, the bourgeoisie tries to implement its adjustment program and the masses react. This is the big picture, that defines the world situation. Capitalism and the bourgeoisie at the command of the world, they only know one way to overcome their recurring crises: more workers exploitation, more predation of nature, more oppressions of all kinds. Thus, the course of the next period and the eventual exit from the crisis are defined in the process of class struggle, facing the action of governments against the masses as a whole and in particular, against youth.

The capitalist youth program is categorical:

• More job insecurity
• More educational gap, now reinforced by the virtuality of the pandemic
• More institutional violence
• More racism and xenophobia
• More macho oppression

Thus, the future for the current generation is committed under the political leadership of the world bourgeoisie.

This panorama is the challenge that youth worldwide have to face: defeat the redoubled attack of the capitalists to secure profit and build a bridge to a new economic model, social and political. In these terms the historical perspective is placed.

The rebellion is not quarantined

Rebellion tends to globalize, with inequalities, but as an indisputable perspective. The rebellion at the heart of imperialism, is the sign of the current global polarization. This corroborates that the “impasse” of the pandemic, confinement in various regions of the world, and after the logical initial impact, does not evaporate the accumulation of previous social force, does not dilute the strength of outraged youth. Conversely, the vitality of the protests is resumed and expanded, even more with the aggravation of the insensitive role, inhumane and irresponsible of the governments of capital against the pandemic. This independent mass action, which is reactivated on all continents, defines a feature of the stage we are going through and at the same time, anticipates changes that we will have to analyze to intervene politically. Nevertheless, the struggles that grow and with youth as a protagonist, it's great and positive news for us, socialists. If there are struggles, there is experience and consciousness can advance, experiencing the dire role of all traditional political formations and even more so, of the false left that only operates to help the capitalists. A) Yes, the task of building organizations for the revolution in the heat of rebellions, gain space and opportunity. Although, Of course, those in charge will not easily resign their power.

The impossible humanized capitalism

In that context, and preventively and defensively, the ideological factories of the capitalists and their partners for "left", the reformists, they make every effort at their disposal to sow illusions in some new form of humanized capitalism. But these "siren songs" are limited by the reality of an economy in crisis with no margins for concessions to the masses.. Even worse: to ensure their dominance and continuity, corporations and their governments, they deploy more and more repressive violence, your last resort. Thus, the conditioning factors of capitalism to ensure basic rights and that youth does not resign, opens a huge field to fight for the ideas of socialism. Open the need to rethink everything, through a real revolution with the working class and the popular sectors at the forefront. Strongly poses the task of building organizations to fight for power. The unprecedented experience of the pandemic, combined with the capitalist crisis, and the response of governments preserving the interests of the 1 %, puts exhaustion of the system on the table, all its decadent barbarism and the challenge of building a new world, on the basis of equality in the economy, without parasites from the work of others; no oppression, no exploitation; without repressive violence; with a real majority democracy, of those below, working class, the youth and the poor peoples of the world.

Another May of 68, to turn everything

For these tasks, to debate and exchange experiences, for the purpose of intervening in this "New May of 68" that seems to cross the world and really, turn around, the youth of the organizations that we integrate in 5 continents the International Socialist League we call the next 20 June to a powerful Meeting of Young Socialists. We look forward to the participation of more than 20 countries from all regions of the planet, and at the same time, we consider this Meeting as an instance of democratic deliberation to resolve actions of struggle and organization in our countries. Because we are realistic, and we fight to reorganize everything without imperialism, no capitalists, without inequalities, without repression. Because we are internationalists, socialists who fight for revolution and a new world, without exploitation or oppression.
