United we can: guarantor of impunity for Felipe González and the PSOE

In the Spanish State, the powerful are not investigated to protect the '78 regime.

Partially declassified CIA documents were released linking former President Felipe González, he "Lord x", with the creation of Anti-Terrorist Liberation Groups (GAL). This organization of mercenaries acted between 1983 Y 1987 provoking 28 murders and attacks on the nationalist left in Spain and France. The documents of the Yankee spy agency confirm the impulse of State terrorism from the highest authority of the Spanish State.

Faced with the fact, the PSOE expressed that the responsibilities do not they reached González but until the already condemned, the former interior minister, Jose Barrionuevo, and his secretary of state, Rafael Vera. These received only 10 years in prison, less time than the Catalan independence leaders, and they were pardoned by the president of the PP José María Aznar.

President Pedro Sánchez wants to protect his party from a new political scandal that, with a fact of the past, would affect present management. Although in March 2016 Pablo Iglesias told the PSOE: “Felipe González has a past stained with quicklime”, now in the position of vice president he holds the cloak of impunity. Because, Parliamentary spokesman for Unidas Podemos was very clear in this regard when he rejected the formation of a commission of inquiry, requested by EH Bildu. He argued that it is not necessary to investigate because: "Everyone knows what happened" plus "When a minister and a secretary of state are convicted".

Crimes against humanity and State terrorism must not go unpunished…

It is a very serious fact, before which the government that defines itself as "Progressive coalition" has decided to maintain a cloak of impunity. They have refused an investigation saying that it is a maneuver of "distraction" when in fact a concrete door was opened to demonstrate the intimate relationship of institutionality with state terrorism. PSOE-UP in the government make them fight, but they have a roadmap with "agreed discrepancies" and when something goes out of it, They close ranks to support the regime of '78 and disguise the horrors of "The sewers of the State". Each fact makes it more clear that United We Can is not from the far left, as they say the PP, Citizens and Vox, Conversely, is training integrated into the regime.

Crimes against humanity and State terrorism are not must go unpunished, not only for implementers and stakeholders, if not neither for political leaders. In the Spanish State it is still pending the great task of punishing the crimes of the Franco dictatorship and those happened later, during and after the transition. Must fight together for the judgment and punishment of those who repressed, tortured and they killed under the umbrella of the state.
